When you are looking for just the right place to hold that special event, why not consider the wonderful seaside town of Westport, Washington.  Whether you are planning an event for 50 or 250, there are catering options and a South Beach venue to accommodate your gathering. 
The recently remodeled Westport Convention Center can accommodate 200+ people while smaller groups can enjoy a more intimate setting at the Islander Resort.  For a more unusual atmosphere, consider renting space at the historic Westport Maritime Museum in either McCausland Hall or the Fresnel Lens building.
Whichever location suits your needs and whether you're serving simple hors d'oeuvres or an elaborate dinner, consider serving fare catered by the culinary professionals from The Islander Resort (home of both Anthony's Restaurant and the Half Moon Bay Bar and Grill).  When reviewed by 'Best Places Northwest', both dining establishments received 3½ out of 4 stars.
There are entertaining and fun-filled events happening in and around Westport throughout the year.  In the spring, you can participate in the World Famous Crab Race, Feed and Derby event and in June don your best Jack Sparrow outfit and be part of Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze - Aargh.  Take your pick of Fourth of July celebrations taking place around the South Beach or come check out the Invitational Chainsaw Carving Contest held in September.  Exciting charter fishing trips are available from March through mid-September.
